Achieving Your Ultimate Career Goals With Pablo De Linares (20th October 19:30 BST)
On 20th October at 19:30 BST, Point Blank will join Pablo De Linares for an insightful workshop focussing on Achieving Your Ultimate Career Goals.
Having graced some of Europe and the UK’s most renowned clubs and events, sharing bills with Calvin Harris, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell and more, Pablo Linares has established a booming career in the electronic music scene. Eliciting the attention of admirers far and wide, this success ultimately led him to the Chapter 47 project.
From Pacha and live-streamed radio sessions to over 20 major events at London’s infamous Ministry of Sound and EGG, the path has been paved firm with a sense of electric energy from the Malaga-born DJ and producer. Adorning high-end nights like Roger Sanchez’s Release Yourself, Toolroom Knights, and the 100% Pure Label Night, Pablo has played alongside some of the world’s pioneers like Tube & Berger, Prok & Fitch, Jay Lumen and more. Having proved his mettle in shows across Europe from Ibiza to headline spots in Ukraine, the Chapter 47 immersive and emotive sound is now pinning itself on the map.
Pablo also started working in Deep Delay Management in 2020 as the Global A&R/Artist Development/Music Strategy Director. This role has helped him open a lot of doors and work with the top people in the industry. In 2021, Deep Delay made the decision to open new offices around the globe and Pablo will be named Owner/Managing Director for the London-based UK office.

Roland Cloud is an evolving cloud-based music-making platform. Explore the rich sonic history of Roland through legendary analog synthesizers, iconic rhythm machines, famously sampled tones, and modern patch collections right in your favorite DAW.
In this unique masterclass, join electronic dub maestro David Harrow as he teaches the history and influence of Roland and provides an extensive tutorial of Roland Cloud Manager, including a showcase of many legendary virtual instruments. Finally, enjoy a detailed walkthrough on composing a track with Roland Cloud sounds in Ableton Live.
David Harrow is an innovative, experimental, and prolific record producer, DJ, remixer, and multimedia artist whose career took off in the London performance art scene in the ‘80s. His incredible adventures include work with Lee Scratch Perry, Psychic TV, Anne Clark, ONU Sound System, Andy Weatherall, Billy Ray Martin, and countless other albums and live projects.
Turntablism With DJ Shorty (26th October, 19:30 BST)
DJ Shorty is one of the resident DJs at ChipShop, with a long history of party rocking and radio broadcasting. He also hosts the weekly ChipShop show on ChuckD’s Rapstation365 showcasing UK hip-hop. His radio career started with pirate radio on ForceFM, moving on to DejaVuFM as well as working with KaneFM, BBC6, 1Xtra and others.
This workshop will be an introduction to the world of turntablism and advanced DJing. Whether you have experience or are a first-timer, we will help you level up. DJ Shorty will not only teach you new techniques but how to make the most of your equipment.
