At pointblank, we believe that creativity goes hand in hand with community. Being part of a society is a fantastic way to enhance your student experience, meet like-minded people, and explore new creative opportunities. Our student-led societies provide a space for collaboration, learning, and fun, allowing you to make the most of your time at pointblank. Whether you want to join social events, engage in sports, or collaborate on music projects, there’s a society tailored to your unique motivations and interests!
Joining a society couldn’t be simpler – just reach out to the Student Services via email, support@pointblankmusicschool.com, and they’ll get you involved. If you want to start a brand-new society, feel free to send an email with your pitch, and our support team will help you to kick things off.
1. pointblank Social Club
A great way to meet new people, attend social events, and build connections within the student community. The president of pb Social Club often organises pub quizzes and game nights, often featuring a prize draw!
2. Sports Society
For students who love staying active! Join for group activities, sports events, and friendly competitions. Members of our Sports Society gather in Shoreditch Park once a week to compete in basketball and volleyball tournaments.
3. Songwriting Society
Perfect for aspiring songwriters looking to collaborate, share ideas, and get feedback on their work. Think songwriting camps – but in a less pressured and more light-hearted environment!
4. Christian Creatives Society
A space for Christian students to connect, collaborate, and share creative projects with faith at the centre.
5. Football Society
For football enthusiasts who want to play matches, organise tournaments, and enjoy the game together. Whether it’s an FPL mini league, a pub gathering to see Lionesses win, or a good old field game, Football Society has something for you!
6. Live Society
For musicians and vocalists who love performing live! This society organises jam sessions, open mics, and live showcases. Make yourself known and socialise with your fellow students!
