DRIV is a Max For Live MIDI device that will guide you through an unexpected harmonic journey. DRIV is a complex sequencer enhanced by multiple independent playheads.
With DRIV you can expand a single monophonic pattern up to four melodic lines that can intercept each other across a vast amount of combinations thanks to a deep phase distortion toolset and advanced playback features.
Start your harmonic journey with a monophonic pattern thanks to DRIV’s fully featured step sequencer. Generate/write/edit parameters on a per-note basis in order to achieve the perfect progression!
Take control over a single voice’s playhead range, direction and speed, as well as scaling and transposition over the voice’s MIDI parameters. Enable Hard Sync to keep everything consistent (regardless weird playhead’ movements) and tidy up the whole sequence.
View and control each possible sequence modifier. While the randomization parameters on the main device can be useful for quick experimentation, the external window grants more flexibility and precise calibration.
Twist, bend, modulate the phase of each voice in order to reach incredibly complex sequences, even starting from a simple pattern.
Send DRIV voices wherever you want by using the Routing settings and the companion DRIV Receiver device: up to 4 sends are available to control virtual instruments and/or hardware gears.
